Ashley Pederson considers herself blessed to have been born and raised in the heart of Missouri, Jefferson City. The Capital City afforded her a wonderful childhood and education at Belair Elementary, Thomas Jefferson Middle School and JC High School. For years Ashley's parents, Bill and Kitty Gates, owned and operated Thomas Jefferson's Men's Wear downtown and the Capital Mall. Ashley's brother, Chris Gates, is a commercial realtor with Kolb Properties.Ashley attended William Woods College and then transferred to Seminole College in Florida. While there, Ashley majored in Interior Design. Although most of Ashley's family lives in Florida, she missed the seasons, the friends and her home, Missouri. Ashley completed her education at University of Missouri St. Louis where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. From 2004 to 2008 Ashley sold real estate in Lake Ozark, Missouri. While at the Lake she met David Pederson, a civil engineer for SM Wilson. Dave is also a native of Jefferson City. In May 2009 Dave and Ashley were married.Because Ashley and Dave have so many fond memories of home and family, they decided to move back to Jefferson City where Ashley, once again, sells real estate.Whether listing or selling, Ashley's education in Interior Design and her knowledge of color, layout and ambiance benefit her clients.
