They have 5 adult children (1 girl, 4 boys) and are very involved with their 5 grandchildren. They are active members of Westerville Christian Church and enjoy being involved in adult bible study as well as other ministry. They are active supporters of LifeLine Christian Mission, The Sam Bish Foundation (pediatric cancer), and are involved with prison ministry. John enjoys fishing, gardening and restoring his 1969 Camaro. He likes Nascar, history and reading biographies of American leaders.
