My Realtor Background I am a 50+ year native of Humboldt County and graduated from Humboldt State University in 1986. After a career in computer retailing, writing and publishing, I became a licensed Realtor in 1998, and received the Humboldt Association of Realtors "Rookie of The Year" award for outstanding service in my profession, and in my community. Within 2 years, I obtained my Realtor GRI designation, by passing an extended 50-hour education course in Real Estate principles which less than 10% of Realtors nationwide hold. In 2006, I became a licensed Real Estate Broker by passing the state Brokers exam and having a minimum 2 years of full-time experience. For most of the past decade, I have been a consistent multi-million dollar sales producer, and typically ranked in the top 10% of salespersons in Humboldt County. In 2014, I was given the "Best of Trulia" Top Agent award. I have lived in Humboldt County all my life with my family.
