I grew up on a small farm in Birchwood, TN where my Mom and Dad diligently worked to instill in me a strong work ethic, paired with a strong spiritual foundation and love for Christ. As a son of a Church of God Pastor, I learned early on that "People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." The lessons I learned from those humble beginnings set me on a path of success. I graduated with Honors from Chattanooga Central High School followed by graduating from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S in Education. I went on to serve as a public school teacher in Wilson County for 16 years. I'm also very proud of the 8 years of coaching middle school basketball where I coached a great group of kids who appeared in 5 State Championship Finals and ultimately won 3 State Championships. I'm excited to say that I'm happily married to the most beautiful and amazing woman in the whole world. Shannon and I just celebrated our 16th anniversary and she has been my biggest supporter by encouraging me to reach for my dreams! Her relentless tenacity would motivate anyone!! She gave me the two best, most awesome kids on this planet! Maleah and Finley never cease to amaze me with their talents in music and their passionate love for Jesus. We are faithful and serving members of our awesome church family at North Cleveland Church of God, where Shannon and I teach a married couples class. With an extensive background in the construction industry that was learned from my Father and 4 years of apprenticing under plumbers, electricians and carpenters at MTSU Housing Maintenance Department; I went on to become a licensed contractor and Shannon and I flipped approximately 20 homes while in Nashville. We also started a business and grew it out of our home into a newly constructed facility to house the company. We later sold the company and that great experience has taught me a lot about business. After moving back home to the Cleveland Tennessee area to be close to family and raise our children in an environment that helped ensure my own success, I closed the chapter on my teaching career and God opened the door to my real estate career. I've always been very passionate about real estate and it has always tugged at my heart. With lots of prayer and soul searching, I asked God to lead me. I became a licensed REALTOR in July 2016. It has been one of the best decisions of my life. God's favor has been upon me and my business has grown exponentially.
