Sam is passionate about the Capital Region though she was not born and raised in the city of Albany. Her family originated from Polish immigrants in Utica NY and is now spread throughout NY State. Sam and her husband Dan lived in Los Angeles and as much as they enjoyed the California sun, waves, and beach volleyball, were ready to trade in big metropolitan life on the other side of the country for life back in NY State near family and friends more than a few years ago. They have not regretted it and feel surrounded by a sense of community where they enjoy walking to local restaurants and shops on New Scotland Ave, having an easily accessible local library, the safety and solace of a nearby fire department, amongst other many amenities that a balanced hybrid of city/suburban life provide. Sam and her husband often volunteer with local organizations such as their neighborhood association and the Vegetable Project, an indoor/outdoor garden classroom that teaches kids about horticulture and healthy eating. They both live in a duplex that they have rehabbed and own another as well that they are in the process of fixing up so she is akin to the landlord lifestyle and her and her husband do a lot of the work themselves. Sam enjoys working with clients that have the same passion for the area that she does whether selling or buying, and regardless of property type. She teaches a beginner's workshop at the Albany Public Library on investing in property. Sam believes that people want to have pride in where they live and with this comes the most basic sense of empowerment and belonging and it is for this reason that she enjoys what she does, whether it be making a home, selling one where good memories and legacy was made, or creating a suitable home for others through owning rentals, contact her today so she can assist you with your property needs!
