Born on a small farm in Idaho, Seth Jenson learned the value of hard work at an early age. “My dad would give us a cent for each potato bug we picked off the potato plants.” His family raised cows and kept a large garden of fruits and vegetables, growing everything from peaches, strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, and corn. “I have always looked up to my dad and my three brothers. They are hard workers, honest, and they put their families first.” When his family moved to Washington, DC for a time, his older brothers started their own lawn mowing business, making $20 per lawn. In 1987, when Seth’s family moved to Colorado, he became a paperboy, delivering papers for the Rocky Mountain News. Every morning he’d wake up to fold papers, load the basket on the back of his bike, and bike around the hilly streets of the North Ranch in Ken Caryl Valley, delivering papers. “The hills were so steep at times, and my bike was so loaded in the back with papers, that I had to lean forward to prevent my bike from doing pop-a-wheelies.” He faithfully delivered papers for many years through rain, snow, and heat, and had to collect each month as well, going door-to-door – his first experience with door knocking. Before heading off to college, Seth worked in downtown Denver at a print shop called AlphaGraphics and then spent a couple of months selling pest control in north Denver. After serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Portugal for two years, Seth continued his collegiate studies in Business Management while selling pest control and Dish Network during the summers. He sold for several different companies in Bakersfield and Sonora, California, and Kansas City, and eventually started his own business called Genesis Marketing, selling Dish Network contracts in Provo, Utah. After graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Management, Seth went on to medical school, intending to devote his life to treating and caring for people’s health. However, he realized his interests were better suited for the real estate industry, helping people make the life-altering decision of where to live and raise a family. “I can really take advantage of my creativity and drive to succeed in this business. The sky is the limit to what I can do, how many people I can help, how I run my business, and what I can achieve.”Seth began building his real estate business in 2004. Since then, he’s helped hundred of families and individuals fulfill their real estate goals. He has achieved the 5280 Magazine 5 Star Professional Award (multi-year winner), Chairman’s Club, Hall of Fame, Platinum Club, and South Metro Denver Realtor Association 4 Carat Diamond Award. “I’m passionate about doing right by our clients and fellow team members, helping them achieve their goals, and exceeding their expectations. I’m passionate about elevating the industry, being fair, being kind, and making others look good.”Seth understands the unique needs of LDS homebuyers and shares their values. He loves being able to raise his kids in the same place he grew up. When Seth isn’t working or spending time with his family, he enjoys reading, hiking, mountain biking, traveling, music, and singing– he recently sang in a men’s acapella group called Ah-Men.Seth also enjoyed teaching an early morning seminary class to Legend and Chaparral High School student members of the LDS Church for four years. He has served in the LDS Church church in several other capacities as well including Elders Quorum, primary, choir, Sunday School, and being a member missionary. “Growing up, I looked up to countless men and women in the LDS Church who were role models of faith, industry, ethics, civility, and kindness.
