Tammy Woods was born in Fort Worth, Texas but when she was 5 her family moved to the small Western Colorado town of Montrose. After graduation she attended Real Estate school and worked listing and selling ranches, homes and recreational property but had to put that aside to attend to her growing family. At that time she worked from home and began to breed, raise and market Friesian and Friesian cross horses and ran a beautiful small ranch while her husband worked in the logging industry where they owned and ran their own trucks. In 2008 her family made the decision to move to Paris so their children would have the availability of higher education and more opportunities. Her oldest served in the Army for 7 years and is now on the road with her husband. Her middle child has excelled in Skills USA and despite him being hard of hearing has won a National title in small engine tech. He obtained his engineering degree from Texas A&M Commerce and is now working for L-3 Harris as an Engineer. Her youngest has excelled as a trumpet player with our award winning North Lamar Band, graduated SOSU with a finance degree and is now working with the Oklahoma SBDC as their state accountant.Tammy has a very outgoing personality and enjoys helping and talking to people, so with the children grown and doing well she decided to go back into the real estate world that had brought so much joy to her. United Country AltaTerra Realty was the perfect fit since they specialize in farm & ranch and rural residential and is looking forward to helping others achieve their goals and reach their dreams of finding your perfect property.
