I've always been passionate about creating safe environments so that others have a genuine place to belong. This passion has led to a long-lasting motto of mine: "Service Before Self". Each and every individual deserves the same respect despite differences in background, profession, or wages earned, and I honor my commitments to others by saying and doing the things I actually believe. Communication and trust are incredibly important to me, and I continually strive to seek first to understand, and then to be understood. I've witnessed firsthand the amazing things that can be accomplished when individuals work together, and I love leading teams towards accomplishing common goals. Having a well-defined process is important to me, and the phrase "Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast" best defines how I like to work. Taking the time upfront to communicate and understand the home buying/selling process provides clarity to make controlled, and confident decisions. I love thinking outside of the box, but also appreciate the simple act of doing something right the first time. When facing adversity, I happily search for the silver lining to uplift and encourage others to push forward. After all, what good is work if you can't have a little bit of fun throughout the day? I grew up in Albuquerque, NM and attended CSU where I graduated with a degree in Forestry. In 2011, my wife and I relocated and purchased a home in Old Town Fort Collins in 2011 following my 11-year career as a forest firefighter. I have competed professionally with bagpipe bands and still play and teach when the opportunity presents itself. I always look forward to international travel, being outdoors, and spending time with close friends and family. When I find some free time, it is filled with woodworking, home brewing, stained glass, coffee roasting, enjoying the outdoors, and supporting my favorite English Premier League soccer club, Arsenal. Being a Realtor with 8z Real Estate has provided me a unique opportunity to share my work philosophy, as each and every transaction is a new beginning with a new set of team members.
